Episode 8: One Big Family

One year later, both the sponsors and the family reflect on what they’ve learned and how they’ve adjusted to their new lives. Carlyn explains how becoming a sponsor changed her life, and how the family’s story in Canada will continue for generations. We see another cycle of sponsorship begin as Sawsen and the family are reunited with their loved ones in Toronto. Unfortunately, the reunion is bittersweet as we see some members of her family had to be left behind in Syria.
